New Year, New Adventures!
Happy New Year sa lahat!
To kick off our new set of adventures, nagpunta kami sa Zambales para sa isang natatanging sporting event! Ang 4th Zambapalooza.
Surfing, skimboarding at skateboarding ang labanan dito! Lahat, kailangan ng balance, coordination, at hilig sa riding. Woohoo!
X-TREME: ZAMBAPALOOZA
Zambales has long been a great, accessibile surfing destination for boardriders in Luzon. And to further encourage boardsports in the area, a bunch of local organizers decided to put up Zambapalooza – a huge, homegrown surf, skate, and skim weekend event. And naturally, X-LIFE was there to partake in the festivities!

EP 28: X-LIFE X-MAS
X-mas na! At napili naming mag-celebrate sa pamamagitan ng isang X-mas party kasama ang mga beneficiaries ng org na Child Hope. In partnership ito with High Five Hope, a sports-oriented org headed by Patricia Hizon, and Futkaleros, na nakasama na rin namin dati sa pagtuturo ng futkal sa mga bata ng Tondo.
Abangan din kung gaano nga ba ka-healthy ang mga common Noche Buena foods, sa X-amine! :)

Amazing news guys, alam niyo bang isa ang Legaspi sa napiling pitstops para sa Amazing Race Asia season 4?
Kaya naman pati kami, nag-race na rin patungong Legaspi. Bukod sa aming Mayon adventures, nag-enjoy rin kaming mag water sports at food trip sa tanyag na Misibis Bay.
Our Misibis adventure was sooo much fun! Mukhang may madadagdag na naman sa aming “Favorite Experiences” list nito!

We all know it’s fun to fly kites… but what about taking them for a ride? Gino and JC met up with Powerkites Manila for some extreme Powerkiting fun.

Our first out-of-the-country shoot was really great, fun, exciting and extreme. I loved the bungeeeeeeeee jummmmmmp! :D Hope to have more out-of-the-country shoots, more adrenaline-pumping action and more extreme activities to come!!! :D Sa’n kaya ang next adventure ng X-Life? Your guess is as good as ours! Sama-sama na lang nating ABANGAN!
HOSTS’ DIARY: STEPH’S MALAYSIA MEMORIES
First time ni Steph sa Malaysia! Here’s what she thought of it!
Day 1 - Malaysia!!! We’re finally here!!! This is my first time in Malaysia, and I’m so happy to be here with my X-Life family. Our schedule looks promising. Hope everything turns out great!
Day 2 - Today was an intense day for us! It was the first time I ever interacted with a live deer, monkey, snake, and sun bear! Insane!!! But I think my pinakafavorite part was the food tasting. Sarap!!! Or should I say ‘sedap!’ Yung authentic Malaysian food sobrang spicy pero sobrang malasa! Marami silang pagkain na parang may halong Pinoy, pero may twist! Mmmm! What a great way to cap off the night. :)
Day 3 - Never ko inexpect yung nangyayari sa day na Ito. Akala ko puro water rides lang ang sasakyan namin but I was wrong! Sumakay kami sa rides na umikot ng 360 degrees… Vertically! At narasan rin namin ang tumakbo from ghosts and zombies. Pero sisiw lang yun sa huling pinagawa samin… Ang bungee jumping. Akala ko hindi ako matatakot pero nung patalon na ako napapahawak ako sa instructor. Muntik na siya mahulog! It took me two tries before I could jump down. Honestly, ‘di parin ako makapaniwala na nagawa ko iyon! Thank you Lord!
Day 4 - Woohoo! Rock climbing sa Batu caves! Awesome! Rock climber talaga ako kaya sobrang excited ako. Dinala ko pa ang sarili kong rock shoes. First time ko maka-climb ng totoong wall, hindi ung synthetic. At ang saya!!! Marami akong pasa at maliliit na sugat so dangerous siya… But for me it was totally worth it! :)
Day 5 - Base jumping. Yan ang gimmick namin ngayon! Kahit na hindi kami yung tatalon, sobrang exciting makakita ng mga professionals as they jump na walang hesitation at all! Kita mo na yung iba nanginginig ang mga binti sa takot, go pa rin nang go! Marami rin kaming nakausap na taga iba’t ibang bansa, katulad ng Switzerland, Australia and Philippines pa! One day, mapupuntahan rin namin yung mga bansa nila for some X-Life action :) Masarap rin mag-picture taking sa Kuala Lumpur tower!
Day 6 - Spiels shoot day :p
Day 7 - First time kong mapanuod ang motorcycle grand prix… Ever! And it has to be live! Hay nako how many people would love to trade positions with me in a second! Nakakaaliw watching the race. Ang energy ng crowd, at especially ng racers, ay sobrang nakakahawa! I didn’t know what the big deal was with Valentino Rossi and ba’t nakakamangha siya… Pero nung napanood ko siya I understood why he’s the crowd favorite! From 6th sa start ng race to 1st! Amazing! Sa tingin ko may isang sport na akong nahanap na gusto kong panuorin!
Overall - Malaysia talaga was a trip of many firsts. Halos lahat ng ginawa ko dun, first time. And to have done all that with people I love and can enjoy it with made it more amazing. Thanks to the Malaysia travel group for making us feel so welcome and for being so hospitable! Parang Meron na rin akong family na pwedeng balikan sa Malaysia. Great food, great adventures, great company. I really really love my job.

Base Jumping
I’ve seen alot of extreme activities my whole life. But when I saw base jumpers, my “extreme” meter bar got raised so high! It may look fun when you see base jumpers do their stunts, but once you’re up there, it’s a different story! You’ll get an adrenaline rush just watching them :) For me, this is one of the most extreme sports that I have ever seen! X-Life na X-Life!
Camping Baru
Sobrang fan ako ng Filipino street food like isaw, fish balls, kwek kwek and other food na binebenta sa turu-turo. Pero I have to give it to Malaysia when it comes to their street food! Sobrang sarap pero sobrang anghang!!! X-treme na extreme sa dila!
Bungee
Sobrang na-excite ako when I heard that we were bungee jumping in Malaysia but wow!!! As soon as I got there it became a different story! Siyempre all I could think na lang was “I could do all things. in Christ who strengthens me.” And then soar! Kakaibang feeling, a must-try for your X-Life bucket list!
Horror House
This experience really finished our day with surprises and laughs! Akala mo nakakatawa when the idea enters your head pero Ibang klase Ang pag gulat nitong mga mumu na Ito!
Laser Challenge
Sobrang fan ako ng Call of Duty na computer game kaya when JC, Steph and I did this challenge, talagang nag-career mode ako! Top ata ako, yeah!
Aviary
I’ve been an animal lover since I was a kid. This aviary in Malaysia is just so nice! Talagang na-appreciate ko yung place dahil ang gaganda ng mga iba’t bang klaseng birds!
11/17/10: Malaysia! (Part 2)
Steph, Gino, and JC continue their adventures in this top tourist destination which has no shortage in thrills, chills, and unique experiences.
X-perience: Malaysia Moto Gran Prix
It’s one of the biggest motorbike races in the world and X-Life was there to witness experience it first-hand. Speed junkies Steph, Gino, and JC managed to score first-class seats at this annual event and watched moto superstar Valentino Rossi cross the finish line.
X-treme: Sigawan sa Sunway Lagoon!
X-Life checked out Malaysian themepark Sunway Lagoon to get their adrenaline fix. Surfing, screaming, and… bungee jumping?Yup they did it – all for X-Life!
X-perience: Wow sa Wildlife
Malaysia is beefing up their eco-tourism industry with a few attractions for nature and animal lovers. Watch the hosts’ close encounters with all sorts of creatures cute, cuddly, and creepy.
